A happy couple arrives at a country church by troika, followed closely by a second sled carrying musicians. Their friends and families gather outside of the church to welcome the pair. The scene is nicely painted in the traditional Mstera style of bold colors mixed with delicate pastels. Thoughtfully placed golden accents sparkle throughout. Delicate garlands of gold and silver ring the sides. This box is made of high quality papier mache and is signed on the lid with the title, artist's name (T. Strunina), and village. There is a hinge at the top, and the interior is red lacquer. The flush base bears the Mstera archer.--BOX1503
