An exotic bouquet in brilliant colors burst forth from the soft blue background. A trio of frilly orchids take center stage, supported by smaller, but no less beautiful, blossoms. Petals and foliage seem to cover the entire surface of the lid before stopping at the edge of a golden border. This box is made of high quality papier mache and is signed on the lid with the title, artist's name (S. Makarova), and village. There is a hinge on the left, and the interior is red lacquer. It rests on four round legs.
