The serene beauty of a swamp is afire with deep jewel tones accented with pale lavender, peach, and silver in this elegant work by T. Yantkova. Delicate flecks of gold and silver lightly dust the landscape to create a feeling of fairy tale magic. The tiny maiden, Thumbelina holds court on a brilliant pink water lily, attended by a glittering butterflies and a rainbow scaled carp. Her gown and delicate tiara glisten with a golden foil underlay, contrasting beautifully with the rich, metallic autumn tones of the background, and her pale skin seems to glow.
