A lad does a little fishing in the foreground, and a couple at the other end of the lake embrace each other at the edge of the pier. It's a pretty scene and reminder those carefree summer days of old. The colors of the drawing stand out beautifully against the black lacquer background, while the blue swirls of color in the lake and sky, give it that distinctive look of boxes coming from the Kholui village. The box is made out of high quality papier mache has a gold ornament at the top and sides, and a hinge at the left. It is signed at the bottom of the drawing with the name of the artist, village and title.
