Emelya relaxes on a sleigh that somehow moves through the streets on its own power. The townsfolk ooh and ah, and scratch their heads at the mystery of the magic conveyance. Emelya, meanwhile, seems to take it in stride, perhaps already used to the miracles that the magic pike has blessed him with. This box, painted by Fedoskino artist Borisov, is a small wonder in itself. The artist has fit a lot of details into an area that is not at all large, and done so without making the scene feel cluttered. Iridescent pieces of mother of pearl have been placed on Emelya's coat and pants, the ladies' skirts, and the cupolas of the church, which have been sculpted to extend past the edge of the box. Meanwhile, the bottom left side of the box rises up a bit, mimicking the drifting of snow.

The box has its own little holder, which cradles the box perfectly, so that it can stand straight up and is stable. The base color of both the box and holder is black with swirls of gray. The box is signed on the bottom with the name of the artist, title, month, and year (November 2008) of completion.
