The blue eyed Snow Maiden, dressed in a bright orange coat, gives some berries to both a little birdie and a buck. The Snow Maiden loves the creatures of the forest, and they love her back. The vivit colors and pretty Snow Maiden make this scene very enjoyable to look at. The artist painted a gold border on the top and on the sides. There is a little bit of scuffing to the black lacquer on the edge, but it is hard to notice and is away from the drawing itself. The box is well crafted and has a hinge at the left. It is signed on the bottom with the name of the artist (Lukin), village and title.
