This evocative image of The Snow Maiden has captured people's imagination for years and has been drawn by many artists from the village of Kholui. The one is done particularly well with sharp lines, vivid colors and high quality workmanship all around. This one, painted by Kholui artist Kosterina, is done at a completely different level of artistry and craftsmanship.
The box has a white ornament that frames the composition and another one that adorns the sides. It is made out of high quality papier mache and does not have a hinge. Signed with the name of the artist, village and title.
