Svetlana Khrustleva was born on 19 October 1971 in the city of Lobnya, Moscow district. In 1993 she graduated Fedoskino art school after studying under the teachers Gorodilin, Lyapunov, and Kuraev. Khrustaleva prefers to draw genre scenes and believes her work is both unique and original. In addition to the lacquer miniatures, she also does oil painting and metal painting, as well. Khrustaleva is constantly experimenting with new techniques, like scratching the surface of some of her works with a needle, as in etching. She is married and has a daughter. She loves flowers and travelling.
