Snug and warm in the fur lined coat and mittens Morozko has given her, she stares in awe at the chest of jewels and gold that he has given her. The scene is beautifully painted in soft, icy tones with glistening mother of pearl accents. This box is made of high quality papier mache and is signed on the lid with the artist's name (Pankratova) and village. There is a hinge on the left, and the interior is red lacquer. The body of the box is painted with shimmering silver against black, and the base of the piece is flush.
