A nice looking bulldog is painted against a green background, surrounded by a flower design. A simple but beautifully done silver and gold ornament winds itself around the side of the box. The box is made out of high quality papier mache and has a hinge at the top. It is not signed, but we do know that it was made in the village of Palekh.
